On November 13, at the University of Idaho in Moscow, four students were stabbed to death in one of the victim's off-campus house. Officials believe that it occurred between the hours of 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.

The community is at a loss of words and their families are devastated. The four victims were 20-year-olds, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin and 21-year-olds Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen.

There has been a multitude of leads but nothing that has helped police to figure out what really happened that night. Police have begun looking over large files of footage from surrounding residents hoping to get an accurate and helpful lead. The police believe that the murders occurred in the early hours of the morning but do not have an exact time. This is a very big investigation that is going to take much time to solve.

It is believed that the students were murdered with a fixed-blade knife. Law enforcement has reached out to local businesses that would have this type of knife and if there was any evidence it was from there, to hand it in.

Officials believe that two of the victims Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin were at the Sigma Chi fraternity house at the University of Idaho that night and left just hours before they were killed. Police are looking for more information on what they did that night, who they contacted, the routes they took home, and the exact time the victims left the fraternity house.

There was a suspicious man in a hoodie that was seen around Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen late that night at a food truck just hours before they were murdered. Officials don't know if this man is linked to the murders yet.

There was a white 2011 to 2013 Hyundai Elantra with an unknown license plate that was seen near the crime scene around the time the victims were murdered. Police are trying to talk to the driver of the vehicle to see if they know anything or have information about the murders. No suspects have been identified yet and no one has been arrested as there is no evidence of who could have done this.

The families of the victims are angry and concerned about how no progress on the investigation has been made.

The Father of victim, Kaylee, Steve Gonvalves expressed to Fox News that he did not feel very confident in the investigation and he along with the rest of their family are extremely frustrated.

The FBI is now involved with the case and investigation and they are helping the local police in Moscow to process all the incoming tips that might be helpful.

There is now a threat to the university and surrounding community as a whole. This has caused much fear, panic, and anxiety in students and parents. Many parents do not feel safe having their kids on this campus wondering if this could've happened to their own kid. And many students do not feel comfortable being in a place where something like this happened. Some students have even begun taking their classes online safely in their homes rather than on campus in person.
